When you refer a client, your reputation travels with the introduction. You need someone who understands the local market, communicates clearly, and follows through.
I work with real estate agents, attorneys, estate planners, trustees, fiduciaries, and other professional advisors whose clients need help buying or selling on the Monterey Peninsula.
As a Carmel and Carmel Valley native and Compass agent, I combine practical local knowledge with personal involvement, thorough property preparation, and marketing that reaches beyond our local market.
I welcome referrals from agents throughout Compass and other brokerages. Whether your client is relocating, buying a second home, selling a family property, or looking for acreage, I provide local guidance and stay closely involved throughout the transaction.
My memberships in the Dream Network and Compass Ranch & Land Network support relationships with agents across the country.
When we work together, you can expect:
I represented the seller of 3210 Macomber Drive, a substantial estate property in Pebble Beach’s Macomber Estates.
My client purchased the home for $4,350,000 in 2021. When he returned to sell approximately four years later, he had made some improvements, but the property remained largely unchanged.
I coordinated painting and professional cleaning, focusing on practical improvements that strengthened the home’s presentation within the seller’s preferences for preparation.
This was a demanding sale that required sustained attention and several weeks of negotiations. Through repeated offers and counteroffers, I worked through sticking points, advocated for my seller’s interests, and stayed engaged until we reached an agreement.
The property sold for $6,200,000 in May 2025—$1,850,000 above the seller’s purchase price, a 42.5% increase before improvements and transaction costs.
For a referring agent or professional advisor, this sale illustrates the commitment I bring to an introduction: hands-on preparation, persistent negotiation, and personal involvement through closing.
My marketing of Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s former Big Sur retreat at 39350 Coast Road attracted national and regional coverage, including:
By communicating the property’s literary history, setting, and distinctive character, I helped introduce the listing to an audience well beyond the local real estate market.
Distinctive properties benefit from marketing that explains what makes them special and puts that story in front of the right audience.
A Bay Area agent introduced me to sellers who needed a local partner for their property at 713 Salinas Monterey Highway. We established our arrangement, partnered on the listing, and I managed the local preparation and sale.
Before going to market, I coordinated inspections and reports, interior painting, landscaping cleanup, and general property cleanup. That work helped present the home well and gave prospective buyers important information upfront.
We listed the property for $1,200,000, received multiple offers, and sold it for $1,250,000—$50,000 above asking, approximately 4.2% over list price—with eight days on market.
The referring agent brought the relationship. I brought local knowledge, preparation, and execution. Together, we delivered an excellent result for the sellers.
A property sale can be one part of a larger legal, financial, or family matter. I help clients and their advisors evaluate the real estate decisions involved and coordinate the practical work needed to move forward.
I welcome introductions from estate and trust attorneys, divorce and family law attorneys, estate planners, professional fiduciaries, trustees, accountants, and financial advisors.
My experience includes estate and trust sales, long-held family properties, and transactions involving multiple decision-makers.
I help authorized parties evaluate market value, preparation costs, timing, and the likely buyer audience. I coordinate inspections, contractor estimates, improvements, and marketing while working with counsel on the transaction requirements.
For families and trustees who live elsewhere, I can manage the local preparation and keep the appropriate parties informed.
For clients selling during a divorce or family separation, I provide discreet, organized real estate support.
The focus is on pricing, preparation, access, showings, offers, and deadlines. Communication and decision-making procedures are established with the authorized parties and their counsel so everyone understands how the sale will proceed.
Sometimes the most useful conversation happens before a client decides to sell.
I can help assess market conditions, estimated sale proceeds, preparation options, and the practical differences between selling now, making improvements, or holding the property. That perspective supports the broader work being handled by the client’s legal and financial advisors.
I generally coordinate pre-listing home and pest inspections, along with septic or sewer lateral inspections where applicable.
The purpose is to identify issues early, give sellers time to address them, and help buyers understand the property before making an offer. This reduces avoidable surprises, late renegotiations, and the risk of a transaction falling apart during investigations.
Depending on the property, I also coordinate:
I help sellers prioritize work that improves marketability and value, with a clear view of cost, timing, and likely benefit.

Excerpts from published client testimonials.
I grew up in Carmel and Carmel Valley, attended All Saints Day School and Stevenson School, and continue to live in Carmel Valley.
I also serve on the Carmel Valley Association board and Land Use Committee. That involvement adds to my understanding of local planning, community concerns, and the issues affecting property ownership.
My work includes coastal homes, rural estates, acreage, legacy properties, and homes where water, wells, septic systems, access, permits, wildfire exposure, or deferred maintenance require additional investigation.
I help identify the questions early and coordinate the appropriate professionals so clients can make informed decisions.
I have successfully referred clients to agents in the Bay Area and other markets.
When a client’s move involves both a sale and a purchase, I collaborate with the other agent on timing, transaction milestones, and the practical details of the move. That coordination helps the client navigate both transactions with clearer communication.
For local sellers, my outreach combines Monterey County agents, national referral relationships, an established client email database, and more than 48,000 combined social media followers and subscribers.
I serve Carmel, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley, Carmel Highlands, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Monterey, Seaside, Sand City, Marina, Corral de Tierra, South Salinas, and Big Sur.
Whether your client needs local representation, help preparing a family property, or guidance on a complex real estate decision, I welcome the introduction.
